Terms of Use
About these terms
These terms apply to Shatter Punch, a game for Apple Vision Pro, and to everything in it. Shatter Punch is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula); these terms add to it. By tapping Accept, or by playing, you agree to both. If you do not agree, do not play, and delete the app.
Who can play
You need an Apple Vision Pro and must meet Apple's own age requirements for it. If you are under 18, get a parent's or guardian's permission first. Shatter Punch is a physical game: younger players should be supervised by an adult who has read these terms.
Your play space
Shatter Punch asks you to punch quickly with both arms. Before every session: clear an area at least 2 × 2 metres (about 6½ × 6½ feet) around where you will play, with nothing within reach of your arms in front of you, beside you or above you, including furniture, walls, screens, lamps, ceiling fans and glass. Keep people and pets out of that space while you play, and make sure the floor is clear and not slippery. PowerPlay sends objects to your left and right hands one after the other, so you need the full width of that space on both sides.
Built rooms and your real room
In a built room the game replaces your view of the room you are really in. Apple Vision Pro fades your real surroundings back in if you move more than about 1.5 metres from where you started, and it may show them if you move quickly toward something. It does not warn you about furniture, walls or people within reach of your arms, and it does not watch your hands. So clear your space before you start, stay in one place, seated or standing, and do not walk around while you play. In your own room you see your real surroundings, but the same rules about space apply. The objects and pieces you see on your own tables, shelves and floor are not real: never reach for, lean on or step toward real furniture to hit one.
Your health
Warm up before you play and take regular breaks. Stop at once if you feel pain, dizziness, nausea, eye strain, disorientation or shortness of breath, and do not play again until you feel well. If you have a heart, joint, back or balance condition, are pregnant, or have any other medical concern, talk to a doctor before playing. The game contains flashes, bright breaking effects and fast motion; if you or anyone in your family has had seizures or blackouts, consult a doctor before playing. Read Apple's Important Safety Information for Apple Vision Pro and follow it.
Fitness figures
Punch counts, active time and calories are estimates for your interest only. Calories are worked out from how fast you punch and an assumed body mass, not measured. They are not medical information and must not be relied on for any health decision.
Your licence to play
You may play Shatter Punch on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the game or anything in it, extract its models, rooms, sounds or music, or use it to make another product, except where the law allows this regardless of these terms.
Game Center and leaderboards
If you sign in to Game Center, your Endless PowerPlay scores on Medium and Hard are posted to Apple's leaderboards, where other players can see them with your Game Center name. Game Center is provided by Apple under Apple's terms. Scores that appear to have been obtained by cheating or by altering the game may be removed.
Third-party content
Many of the objects, rooms and sounds in Shatter Punch were made by other artists and are used under their licences; each is credited on the Credits page. Those licences, and the artists' rights, remain theirs. Any names or marks that appear belong to their owners and do not imply any endorsement.
Updates
We may update Shatter Punch to add, change or remove levels, rooms, objects or features. We do not promise that any feature will stay available, or that the game will be free of errors or interruptions.
Problem reports and ideas
If you send us a problem report or an idea, you let us use it to improve Shatter Punch without owing you anything for it. What a report contains, and how we handle it, is in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, Shatter Punch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law as a consumer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage that results from playing without following these terms and the safety information above, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Where the law does not allow a limit, our liability is limited only as far as it does allow.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If a change matters, Shatter Punch will ask you to read and accept the new terms before you play again. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
