Privacy Policy
In short
Shatter Punch has no accounts of its own, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics of ours. Nothing you do in the game is sent to us unless you choose to send a problem report. If you are signed in to Game Center, your Endless PowerPlay scores on Medium and Hard are sent to Apple for its leaderboards.
What stays on your Apple Vision Pro
Your campaign progress and how each level went, best scores, the objects you have collected, your workout tally (punches, active time and estimated calories per day, kept for about 13 months), and your settings. When you are signed in to Game Center, your progress is kept under your Game Center player identifier, so each player on the device keeps their own. The game also keeps a technical log of its last three launches and any crash diagnostics Apple's system gives it, so a problem can be looked into if you choose to report it. All of this stays in the app's storage on your device (and in your device's own backups, such as iCloud Backup if you use it), is not sent to us, and is deleted when you delete the app.
Your hands and your room
To see your punches, Shatter Punch uses hand tracking: the positions of your hand joints while you play. It uses world sensing to find your floor in every room, and in your own room the positions of your tables, shelves and walls too, and the shape of your room's surfaces (a 3D mesh Apple Vision Pro builds), and where your head is, so objects can be placed on your furniture, thrown toward you and bounce off what is really there. This is processed on the device while you play. Shatter Punch never receives camera images, and it does not keep a record of your hands or your room. The technical log does contain simple numbers from each session, such as how fast a punch was, how high your eyes were above the floor, the height of the floor, how far away your walls and surfaces were and how many were found. It never contains pictures, and it leaves your device only if you attach it to a problem report.
Game Center
If you sign in to Game Center, your Endless PowerPlay scores on Medium and Hard are sent to Apple's Game Center so they can appear on leaderboards with your Game Center name. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. To sign out, open Settings > Game Center on your Apple Vision Pro.
Problem reports you send
Settings > Report a problem, or the prompt after a crash, opens an email to reports@watchvisiontheater.com in your own email app. Nothing is sent until you press Send there. The email contains what you write, the app and visionOS versions, the device model, your campaign level and room setting, and, if you leave "Include diagnostics" on, the technical log and crash diagnostics described above, which you can see and remove before sending. We receive your email address because you are emailing us. We use reports only to find and fix problems and to reply to you; we do not sell or share them, and we delete them once they are no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.
Crash statistics from Apple
If you have chosen in your Apple Vision Pro's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and basic usage statistics for Shatter Punch. Apple provides these without your name or any information that identifies you.
Children
Shatter Punch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us a report, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Deleting Shatter Punch deletes everything it stored on your device. You can turn off hand tracking or world sensing for Shatter Punch in your Apple Vision Pro's settings. Without hand tracking the game cannot see your punches, so it cannot be played; without world sensing your own room cannot be used, and the built rooms still work. For anything you have emailed us, you can ask to see it, correct it or have it deleted, whatever country you live in.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, Shatter Punch will ask you to read it again before you play. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
